Last week we enjoyed a televised interview with Vij Sodera, author of One Small Speck to Man: The Evolution Myth. Dr. Sodera’s book is much like a college textbook on a wide range of topics regarding evolution, asking the same question of each field, “Is evolution even possible?” You can find his book at his website, http://www.onesmallspeck.com/wp/ .
Dr. Sodera is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His specialty is Minor Surgery, an area for which he has written three medical textbooks.
Dr. Sodera covered several topics, including some that we have studied in our weekly meetings. One topic was the discovery of dinosaur soft tissue.
Many people heard the 2005 news of Mary Schweitzer’s team’s discovery of T-Rex soft tissue. But there have been discoveries of soft-tissue as far back as 1954. For the most part, evolutionists, having no realistic explanation for the presence of original organic materials in dinosaur bones, have chosen simply not to acknowledge it.
This week we will dig deeper into the soft tissue discoveries and their implications for evolution using the DVD “Echoes of the Jurassic” and the book of the same name, by Kevin Anderson, Ph.D. Dr. Anderson led the Creation Research Society’s iDINO project. The team searched for additional bones with original materials and shared their results in the DVD and book, and published their research in the Creation Research Society Quarterly Journal.
We will meet on Tuesday and Thursday as usual. We look forward to seeing everyone.
